Joey Ruffino brings a deceptive lefty look and proven college success to FDU
In the 2024 season at Rowan College South Jersey, Joey Ruffino went 6-0 over 29.1 innings with a 3.68 ERA and 31 strikeouts, then arrived at Fairleigh Dickinson as a left-handed pitcher with a track record of getting outs and limiting damage[8][13]. FDU’s roster lists him at 5-foot-11, 200 pounds, and his value is the classic southpaw bonus: matchup flexibility, some pitchability, and enough prior success to suggest he can help a staff right away[4][9].
