C.J. Douglas brings Houston a steady, physical presence at DB
C.J. Douglas profiles as a compact, physical Houston defensive back with enough versatility to matter right away, and in the 2025 season he had already logged 3 tackles and an interception through three games. He’s listed at 5-foot-11, 200 pounds, and EA Sports rated him a 76 overall in College Football 26, suggesting a solid all-around starter rather than a pure splash-play prospect. The differentiator is reliability: a tough, active safety/DB who can support the run, handle space, and fit as a dependable depth piece or rotational defender.
