Sydney Dirks is Western Carolina’s middle-order power bat
Sydney Dirks has been a major run-producing force for Western Carolina in the 2026 season, highlighted by a 12th home run in April and a string of big-game, multi-run efforts that helped swing conference wins. Her profile suggests a true utility player with impact power and the kind of competitive edge coaches value in pressure moments. If you need a versatile hitter who can change a game with one swing and fit into an offense built around damage, she is an attractive add.
