the glue-guy forward who wins with boards, IQ, and feel
Michael Baer’s calling card for Siena has been rugged rebounding, unselfish play, and a steady, low-drama impact that coaches love—he was listed at 6-7, 218 and, in Siena’s 2022-23 notes, averaged 5.7 points, 10.0 rebounds, and 2.7 assists during the Italian tour while also earning a spot on the leadership council[1]. Earlier coverage and team notes highlight his toughness, defensive rebounding, and late-game edge, plus a personal resilience story that underscores his intensity and perspective[1][4]. If your team needs a high-IQ forward who can do the dirty work, Baer is the kind of guy who makes lineups sturdier than the box score suggests[1][2].
