reliable Iowa State LB with pass-coverage upside and blue-collar toughness
Willich enters the 2026 season as a veteran redshirt senior at Iowa State, listed at 6-1, 225, with a résumé built on resilience after a high school knee injury and steady production when healthy. In 2025, he logged 18 tackles, 1.0 tackle for loss, and four pressures/hurries on limited pass-rush chances, while a 67.1 PFF coverage grade suggests his best trait is staying sticky in space. He’s a smart, physical fit if you want a dependable linebacker who won’t wow you with flash but can quietly make the defense run smoother.
