Rex Hauser is a two-way spark plug for Maine with real power and live-arm upside
Hauser entered 2026 as a 6-foot-6 freshman pitcher for Maine, and he’s already flashed the kind of rare multi-tool value that makes coaches lean in: he was named America East Rookie of the Week on March 3, 2026, homered in a March 8 game, and later drew summer buzz for a 2.39 ERA over 26.1 innings in the NECBL plus a home run derby win. The appeal is obvious—big frame, power potential, and competitive two-way juice—so he looks like a high-upside fit if you want a pitcher with bat-in-hand upside and a fearless personality.
