Chase Rodgers is a developing righty with game experience and a high-upside academic base
In the 2026 season, Chase Rodgers has worked mostly in relief for Lafayette and has logged 3.1 innings with a 10.80 ERA, 1 strikeout, and 4 walks, so the raw stat line says he’s still finding his footing at the college level[2]. The upside comes from his profile: a 6-foot-1, right-handed pitcher from Dana Hills who was a two-year starter, team captain, and scholar-athlete in high school, which hints at competitiveness, coachability, and polish[3]. If a staff wants a developmental arm with mental makeup and room to grow, Rodgers is worth a look; if it needs immediate shutdown innings, he’s not that guy yet[1][2].
