Wes VanBeck brings veteran Houston guard steadiness with shot-making touch
Wes VanBeck’s Houston profile is that of a steady, experienced guard who can score efficiently and space the floor: in the 2017-18 season, he averaged 6.1 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.1 assists while shooting 41.6% overall and 37.6% from three. He also gave Houston a little of everything on the stat sheet, with a 19-point season high and multiple 3-pointer bursts, which points to a plug-and-play backcourt fit. His appeal is reliability, perimeter range and low-drama production—exactly the kind of glue guard coaches love.
