Jalen Todd brings size, takeaways, and rising starting-caliber confidence to KU’s secondary
In the 2025 season, Jalen Todd emerged as a first-time starter at outside corner for Kansas after playing 11 of 12 games as a freshman in 2024, and he entered 2026 as the Jayhawks’ top corner with a reputation for making plays on the ball. He stands 6-foot-1 and 195 pounds, gives KU length on the edge, and brings a ballhawk edge that showed up in his five collegiate interceptions before joining Kansas, while Kansas coverage notes say he’s become the guy who can be trusted against opponents’ best receivers.
