steady Delaware catcher with timely contact and clutch composure
In the 2026 season, Delaware catcher Morgan Chambers has been a solid table-setter and run-support piece, hitting .240 with a .601 OPS and collecting 25 hits, 7 RBI, and 6 extra-base hits while starting 16 of 25 games[1]. She’s a right-handed catcher from West Deptford, N.J., and the profile is more “reliable glue” than gaudy stat monster: Chambers has shown she can put the ball in play, handle the position, and contribute in key moments, including a hit and two runs in Delaware’s 9-0 win over Delaware State[1][2]. For a team, that means a catcher with value in consistency, toughness, and everyday presence rather than pure headline power[1].
