Donavin Young is a versatile 6-8 Stanford forward with upside as a slashing, multi-positional piece
In the 2025-26 season, Donavin Young has been a low-usage but useful Stanford forward, averaging 2.5 points and 2.7 rebounds while bringing length, rebounding and defensive activity in limited minutes.[1][7] His best trait is versatility: at 6-foot-8 and 220 pounds, he can play on the wing or as a small-ball forward, and Stanford has used him as a depth piece who can attack the rim and chip in when called upon.[1][8] The swing skill is consistency—his efficiency has been modest this season, but his size, physicality and ability to fill multiple roles make him a reasonable fit for a team needing adaptable frontcourt depth.[1][7][8]
