Low-profile righty with bullpen poise and team-first grit
Adelman’s current value at San José State is as a bullpen arm who has already shown he can survive pressure spots: in 2025 at Chico State, he logged 18 relief appearances, 17.1 innings, a 2-2 record, one save and a 5.71 ERA, including a bases-loaded escape and a two-inning save. Coaches and coverage describe him as a high-pressure, leadership-minded competitor, which matters if you want a reliever who can handle leverage rather than just pile up strikeouts. His profile suggests toughness and trustworthiness more than overpowering stuff, so he fits best with a staff looking for composure and innings depth.
