Lanky Butler LHP with Elite 2024 Summer Dominance, Now Battling 2026 ERA Struggles
Logan Wiley is a 6-foot, 155-pound lanky left-hander for Butler whose differentiator is his elite 2024 Cal Ripken Summer League performance (4-0, 1.14 ERA, First Team All-League), proving he can dominate when his skills click. While his 2026 season shows a challenging 7.96 ERA over 26 innings, his underlying strength is his intense midweek starter mentality and rapid skill progression noted at PBR events. He is a high-upside fit for teams needing a projectable lefty with proven summer dominance, though he requires patience to overcome current ERA volatility and build on his 2025 UMBC foundation (40.1 IP, 27 SO). His personality is defined by relentless progression, making him a compelling 'care' candidate for scouts betting on his lanky frame and 2024 proof of elite potential.
