Garret Covington brings proven scoring punch and veteran efficiency to Western Illinois
Covington is a high-usage, experienced guard who has shown he can carry an offense, highlighted by a 28.0-point, 5.0-assist, 4.5-rebound week without a turnover and a career total of 1,896 points at Western Illinois. He stands out for shot-making, play creation, and poise under pressure, with enough all-around impact to help a team that needs a reliable veteran bucket-getter. The fit question is simple: if you want a guard who can score in bunches, create for others, and set a competitive tone, he’s an easy name to care about.[2][3][4]
