Steady Senior Switch-Hitter Powering WKU's Lineup with .287 AVG & 3 HR in 2026
Western Kentucky senior LF Cael Frost is delivering a reliable .287 average with 3 HR, 18 RBI, and 25 hits through the 2026 season, showcasing the plate discipline and consistency honed from his .379 JUCO campaigns at Kirkwood CC in 2022-23. A lefty batter with righty throw from a strong Iowa HS pedigree (Nebraska Don Bosco), his smooth left-handed swing and athletic 6'0", 200-lb frame make him a gritty, everyday outfielder ideal for teams seeking low-strikeout production and gap power—no injury red flags, just pure reliability that fits mid-major contenders or MLB draft depth charts.
