Will Leslie brings a pro-leaning frame and Arkansas upside to A-State’s rotation
Will Leslie, a 6-foot-5 right-handed pitcher from Cabot, Arkansas, arrives at Arkansas State as a well-regarded in-state arm with notable upside and room to grow. In his high school career, he helped Cabot reach the 2024 state semifinals and earned Perfect Game’s Arkansas No. 25 ranking plus 17U WWBA Mid-South All-Tournament Team honors, which hints at a pitcher who shows up in big moments[1][3]. At 188 pounds with a starter’s build, he looks like a developmental fit for a staff that values projection, competitiveness, and local talent[1][3].
