Garion McPherson is an early-career Louisville DB with upside and a clean developmental profile
Garion McPherson is a 2026 freshman defensive back for Louisville, listed at 5-foot-10 and 180 pounds and wearing No. 47.[1][2] He arrives from Boyle County in Danville, Kentucky, and is already on the Cardinals’ depth chart, which suggests he’s in the mix early as a young, workable piece in the secondary.[1][2] The appeal is projection: compact frame, home-state toughness, and an active roster spot for a program that values depth and special-teams-ready defenders.[1][2]
