Nicholas Dromboski is emerging as a do-it-all spark for Stony Brook
In the 2026 season, Nicholas Dromboski has been a productive freshman outfielder for Stony Brook, earning CAA Rookie of the Week after batting .600 in one week and carrying a team-best .338 average at that point. He brings real extra-base pop, speed, and situational hitting—he has already produced doubles, triples, homers, and stolen bases—and his high school résumé showed elite bat-to-ball ability plus record-setting production. He looks like a high-upside fit if you want a line-drive hitter who can impact games in more than one way, even if the scouting note is still more “rising engine” than finished product.
