Bam Smith brings veteran juice and tackle production to Tarleton State’s linebacker room
In the 2024 season, Bam Smith was one of Tarleton State’s most productive defenders, finishing with 73 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery, a half-sack, a pass breakup, and five quarterback hurries; he also earned third-team Phil Steele All-UAC honors.[6] In 2025, he remained a key piece of an experienced linebacker group and was described as a senior leader behind an elite Texans defense.[5][7] Why care?
