UIC’s right-handed pitcher with proven strikeout upside
Talyn Fordham is a 5'8" right-handed pitcher who logged 21.1 innings and 15 strikeouts in 2025 for UIC, showing enough bat-missing ability to be worth a look as a depth arm with upside. Her stat line also shows the rough edge—an 0-1-5 record and 10.42 ERA—but those numbers suggest she was still finding consistency rather than lacking stuff. At the high-school level, she also posted a no-hitter and earned notable state/national rankings, which points to real arm talent. If you need a projectable pitcher who can develop with innings, she fits the profile.
