Illinois State guard Tony Wills stands out as a steady, defense-first Redbird
Tony Wills brings the kind of profile coaches love: a tough, disciplined guard who has been trusted in big minutes and built his reputation on defense and reliability rather than flash. As a Redbird, he played in 33 of 34 games and averaged 3.6 points and 2.8 rebounds, while his broader career included 71 starts, 649 points, 118 steals, and MVC All-Defensive recognition, signaling active hands, positional intelligence, and real two-way value. If your team needs an intensity-driven, low-mistake guard who competes every possession, he fits well.
