Libby Munn brings power, speed, and a winning pedigree to SDSU’s outfield
Libby Munn enters South Dakota State in the 2026 season as a freshman outfielder with real two-way value: she helped Joplin High win a conference title in 2024, hit a career-high eight home runs as a sophomore, and is also a standout track athlete with her school javelin record. That mix of pop, athleticism, and multi-sport edge makes her an intriguing fit for a program that values versatility and energy. She also arrives with strong classroom habits, earning four Academic All-State honors, which usually says plenty about work ethic and coachability.
