Cole Miller is emerging as Elon’s midweek lefty with room to grow
In the 2026 season, redshirt freshman left-hander Cole Miller has worked into Elon’s starting mix and showed steady progress, including a career-high five innings with no walks against Queens and a 4.94 ERA across his 2026 cumulative stats. His calling card is simple and valuable: a projectable 6-foot-2 frame, strike-throwing flashes, and the ability to give the Phoenix a competitive left-handed look on midweeks. He’s not yet a finished product, but the early returns suggest a durable, usable arm with starter potential and a fit for teams that like development upside.
