SIUE’s workhorse righty with strikeout juice and starter grit
Tim Teixeira has been a real rotation anchor for SIU Edwardsville in the 2026 season, posting a 7-5 record with a 4.23 ERA over 87.1 innings while striking out 72 batters and holding hitters to a .230 average. He’s more than just innings: SIUE highlighted a first career complete game on March 13, 2026, and a nine-strikeout outing on March 27, showing he can finish and miss bats when he’s on. At 6'2", 260, he brings a sturdy, durable starter profile that should appeal to teams wanting toughness and a heavy workload.
