Colorado State’s Liliana Russo arrives as a high-upside lefty with championship pedigree
In the 2026 season, Russo is a freshman LHP for Colorado State, but she has no recorded stats yet for the Rams[1]. Her differentiators are the kind coaches love to bet on: a left-handed arm, 5-foot-9 frame, proven high-school production, and real big-game experience—she helped Hamilton to a 6A state-title run and posted a 1.74 ERA with 105 strikeouts in 96.2 innings in her final high-school season[1][13]. She also brings strong academics, a 4.0 GPA, and a creative, workout-driven personality, which suggests a disciplined, high-ceiling add rather than a raw flyer[1].
