Elite ASUN Scorer & Three-Point Threat for Jacksonville
Dontarius James is a high-intensity forward who closed the 2020-21 season as the ASUN's leading scorer at 17.5 PPG, differentiating himself with elite shooting volume (55 triples, 4th in conference) and a 45.1% field-goal rate. His differentiators include a proven 'closer' mentality with nine 20+ point games and three 30+ point explosions, plus four ASUN Newcomer of the Week awards that highlight his immediate impact and adaptability. While he lacks a major injury history in available records, his 1.2 steals per game and 4.4 rebounds show he plays with defensive grit and physicality. You should care because he is a self-starter who can score from anywhere and elevate a team's ceiling immediately; he is an ideal fit for any roster needing a primary scorer who can also create his own shot under pressure.
