Kohen Thompson brings length, spacing, and veteran poise to UMES
Kohen Thompson is a 6-foot-7 forward whose appeal is built on versatility: he can stretch the floor, defend multiple spots, and provide mature, low-drama minutes for Maryland Eastern Shore. In the 2022-23 season, he appeared in 31 games and hit multiple threes in key moments, including a 9-point outing at Saint Joseph’s, showing he can flash as a floor-spacing role player. He was also described by UMES as a “true steal” for his athleticism, versatility, and academic discipline—useful traits if a team wants a smart, adaptable forward who won’t need the ball to impact winning.
