Shaquille Boga brings veteran pace, playmaking, and steady two-way guard play for UTRGV
In the 2025 season, Shaquille Boga averaged 9.5 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game, showing he can run an offense without forcing the issue.[1][6] He also flashed real veteran value as a 5-foot-11 guard who has long been praised for improved floor game, better three-point range, and quicker defense, with UTRGV previously noting his ability to find scorers and set the table.[10][13] If a team wants a compact, experienced lead guard who plays with poise and toughness, Boga is the kind of steady connector who quietly makes everyone else better.[1][10][13]
