Tyler Sagl brings size, shooting, and proven MAAC scoring pop to Marist
Tyler Sagl is a 6-foot-5 guard whose biggest appeal is clear: he can score from the perimeter, stretch defenses, and bring veteran wing size that creates matchup headaches. In his Marist freshman season in 2019-20, he averaged 8.5 points, led MAAC freshmen in scoring, and ranked 13th in the league with 1.8 made threes per game; Marist described him as a pure shooter, and early coverage praised his trust-level role and shot-making. His fit is best for teams needing a confident, floor-spacing guard who can punish help defense and isn’t afraid of the moment.
