Bella Clapp brings pop, versatility, and real freshman-year impact for NM State
In the 2025 season, Bella Clapp showed she can help in multiple ways: she played 26 games with 11 starts, hit .273 with a .385 on-base percentage and .749 OPS, and added a triple plus five walks while handling time at catcher, second base, and center field. She also flashed defensive value with a .944 fielding percentage and a caught-stealing. What stands out beyond the box score is her bat-to-ball pressure and clutch energy—she already turned heads with key extra-base damage in 2026, including a home run in a comeback effort, making her a useful fit for a team that wants flexibility and toughness.
