Sam Cassell Jr. is a seasoned lead guard with proven shot-making and big-game flashes
Cassell Jr. stands out as a battle-tested guard whose best calling card is scoring from the perimeter and delivering under pressure, including a 29-point outburst at Iona with 7-of-11 shooting from three and a 16-point NCAA Tournament game. He also showed steady all-around production in his final Iona season, averaging 10.9 points and 3.0 assists while starting 28 of 35 games. The differentiator is his combo of experience, composure, and guard skills rather than raw athletic hype, making him a fit for teams that value a calm, efficient backcourt organizer who can also heat up quickly.
