Kalani Sells brings speed, contact pop, and proven two-way value for Mississippi State
Sells is an athletic outfielder whose value goes beyond the box score: Mississippi State listed her as a freshman watch-list player after she arrived from Jasper High School, where she was the offensive MVP and led her team in batting average, RBIs, home runs, and stolen bases, and she hit .421 in the fall with 10 RBIs and six steals.[6] In 2026 summer-league play, she posted a .455 average, 18 runs, 16 RBIs, 13 stolen bases, and a 1.286 OPS, signaling an impact profile built on speed, efficiency, and table-setting upside.[3]
