Marcus Calvin keeps grinding into Kansas’ DT rotation
In the 2025 season, Kansas defensive tackle Marcus Calvin played in 11 games and logged 15 tackles, 1 sack, and 1 pass breakup, and by 2026 he had earned a spot in the Jayhawks’ interior rotation after a clear offseason jump in strength and polish[1][6]. At 6-2, 305, he stands out less as a splashy stat monster and more as a sturdy, high-effort lineman whose development has been praised by KU staff, with reports noting he stayed committed to Kansas instead of chasing a quicker payday elsewhere[1][4][6].
