Ben Moyer brings compact right-handed depth to Samford’s staff
In the 2026 season, Ben Moyer is listed as a junior right-handed pitcher on Samford’s roster at 5'10", 185 lbs, but the available team stat line shows only a tiny early-season workload, so the sample is too small to crown him a finished product yet[1][2]. What stands out is the profile: a short, sturdy RHP build and a spot on a program that consistently asks pitchers to compete in the strike zone and survive pressure innings. If you want a low-drama arm with potential value as a durable bullpen piece, Moyer is a name worth keeping on the radar[1][2].
