Seth Davis brings Houston Christian a strike-throwing veteran with real bat-missing upside
In the 2026 season, Houston Christian pitcher Seth Davis is a senior right-hander listed at 5'8", and that compact frame is part of the intrigue: he’s a proven competitive arm who’s carried a multi-pitch profile with swing-and-miss traits, including a fastball that has shown upper-90s life in pro-tracking context and a breaking-ball mix that can miss bats[2][15]. He’s the kind of pitcher who can fit a staff that values intensity, strike-throwing, and versatility, and his background suggests a grinder’s mentality rather than a stuff-over-everything profile[2].
