Felipe Patino brings size, shooting touch, and plug-and-play wing value to Southern Miss
In the 2025-26 season, Felipe Patino has been a low-usage Southern Miss guard who can stretch the floor, highlighted by an 18-point, 6-of-10 three-point burst against Tougaloo and season averages around 1.6 points in limited minutes. His best calling card is clear: at 6-foot-4, he gives the Golden Eagles perimeter size, shooting upside, and a steady two-way baseline after a JUCO season at Eastern Florida State where he averaged 9.6 points, 4.3 rebounds, and shot 47.6% from deep. He looks like a fit for teams needing a smart, spot-up wing who won’t hijack possessions and can grow into more.
