Miller Murray is a rising two-way threat behind the plate for Morehead State
In the 2026 season, Miller Murray has shown real upside for Morehead State at catcher: he’s listed at 6'3", 225 and has already delivered clutch extra-base pop, including his first career home run, while posting a .192 batting average with a .729 OPS and a .982 fielding percentage through the available team stats. The eye-opener is the combo package — size, occasional impact with the bat, and reliable defense — plus a grinder’s profile that shows up in situational moments like bunting in a run. He looks like a fit for teams wanting a physical catcher with developing offense and solid steadiness.
