Towering DE with Untapped Upside on NMSU's Line
Reeves Baller, a 6-6, 230-pound redshirt junior DE for New Mexico State, showed early promise in 2024 with two tackles in six games—both against CUSA champ Jacksonville State—while shining on special teams, building rotational experience without injury setbacks[1][2]. His massive frame from Argyle, TX, screams developmental gem: explosive length to disrupt QBs, relentless motor, and hybrid DE/Jack versatility that fits 3-4 or 4-3 schemes perfectly. Why care? He's a raw athlete poised for breakout in 2026—ideal for teams needing high-ceiling edge depth with special teams grit[2][6].
