SMU Transfer CB with Elite Intensity and 31 Career Defensive Stops
AJ Davis, a 5'10", 195-lb junior CB from Dallas, TX, brings elite intensity and a proven track record with 31 career defensive stops (7 at SMU in 2023, 10 in 2024, and 10 at Washington State in 2025). His differentiator is his 'large hit' mentality and redshirt-journal resilience, having transferred from SMU to Washington State in 2025 without injury history. Davis is a perfect fit for teams needing a physical, data-driven corner who thrives in high-pressure moments, as evidenced by his snap-count leadership at WSU in 2025. You should care because he combines SMU's defensive rigor with WSU's snap-count dominance, making him a top-tier CB for any competitive roster.
