Bella Wellbaum brings contact-pop production and veteran utility value to CBU
Bella Wellbaum’s 2026 season for California Baptist showed a steady, useful bat and real depth-piece value: she hit .267 with a .656 slugging profile in the team’s stats page and delivered a 3-for-3 outing in a win over UC Riverside in April 2026[5][6]. She’s also got a strong résumé from Louisville HS, where she posted a .505 career average and .556 on-base percentage, plus Mission League Pitcher of the Year honors and all-league recognition[4]. For a team, she looks like a versatile, competitive infield option who can flash at the plate and bring gritty, proven winning habits—very much a “glue player with upside” kind of add.
