Tai Turner is YSU’s contact-driven, middle-of-the-order spark plug
In the 2026 season, Tai Turner has been a big bat for Youngstown State, hitting .400 with a triple, two home runs, and 12 RBIs, including a .467 week that earned Horizon League Player of the Week honors. She brings legit pop for an INF at 5'9", but the real separator is production under pressure: multi-hit games, timely extra-base damage, and enough versatility to slide into big spots without blinking. YSU also lists her as a redshirt junior with prior All-MAAC pedigree, so this is a proven performer, not a one-week wonder.
