Greg Kennedy is a sturdy, strike-throwing Eastern Michigan righty who’s earning trust in leverage innings
In the 2026 season, Greg Kennedy has shown he can give Eastern Michigan real bullpen length and calm down messy games: he logged a career-high three scoreless innings against Kent State on May 10, then earned his first NCAA Division I win with two scoreless innings in a walk-off victory over Youngstown State on March 24. The transfer from Lake Erie College brings a compact 5-foot-11 frame, a starter’s feel for sequencing, and flashes of swing-and-miss ability; the caution flag is command consistency, after a 2025 season at Lake Erie with a 5.24 ERA and 29 walks in 48 strikeouts.
