Beau Elson is Fordham’s steady lefty with swing-and-miss upside
In the 2026 season, Beau Elson has been Fordham’s workhorse starter, posting a 6-4 record with a 5.40 ERA and 60 strikeouts over 68.1 innings, while showing he can work deep into games and miss bats in bunches.[1][4] His calling card is competitiveness: he opened 2026 with a career-high eight strikeouts at UNC Wilmington and later turned in a seven-inning, six-strikeout win over George Mason.[9][6] He’s a left-hander with starter value and real rotation-fit potential, though the run prevention has been uneven at times.[10][13]
