Delaware’s crafty lefty with real starter mileage
In the 2025 season, Ethan Shaub logged 38.1 innings over 17 appearances and nine starts for Delaware, showing he can handle both rotation work and flexible bullpen duty[2]. He’s a 5-foot-10 graduate student left-hander whose best calling card is experience and competitiveness; he’s been trusted in meaningful spots and has shown the ability to miss bats at a workable rate while giving his team innings[2]. The downside is consistency: his 2025 run stats were uneven, so he looks like a fit for a team that values toughness, depth, and a pitcher who knows how to compete, not just raw overpowering stuff[1][2].
