Morgan Borgstadt brings two-way versatility and disruptive defense to UIW
Borgstadt is a forward who can impact a game without needing heavy usage: in 2024-25 at UT Martin, she averaged 2.9 points, 1.8 rebounds and 0.8 assists in 12.8 minutes, while flashing real defensive playmaking with four steals in one OVC tournament game and three-plus steals in three games that season[2]. Her earlier 2023-24 season showed a higher ceiling before a season-ending foot injury, with 7.4 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.1 steals and 0.8 blocks per game, so the key question for UIW is health and consistency, not talent[2][3].
