Wake Forest's Crisp-Route TE with Linebacker Mismatch Magic
In the 2025 season, Junior TE Kamrean Johnson (6'5", 230 lbs) delivered 11 receptions for 122 yards and 1 TD at Wake Forest, appearing in all 13 games as a former Vanderbilt transfer. His differentiators include running crisp routes, creating mismatches against linebackers/safeties, and gaining yards after contact—traits that elevate him beyond raw stats. Active, intense, and from Birmingham, AL, Johnson’s route precision and physicality make him a high-fit TE for teams needing a reliable pass-catcher who can stretch the middle. No major injury history reported; his consistency and matchup creation answer why you should care and confirm his team fit.
