Kailyn Young is becoming a steady two-way spark for ECSU
In the 2025-26 season, Kailyn Young has emerged as a useful G/F for Elizabeth City State, averaging 8.6 points per game while shooting 83.3% from the free-throw line and contributing rebounding and a little shot-making pop from deep. The upside: she can score in bunches, has already delivered multiple team-leading or near-team-leading outings, and has shown she can help off the bench without needing the ball every possession. For a team wanting a versatile, energetic wing who can stretch the floor and bring fight, she looks like a smart fit.
