Early-Season Guard Who’s Already Organizing the Offense
Flaherty has only one game on the 2025-26 ledger so far, but in 12 minutes at Drake he posted 2 points, 2 assists, and 1 rebound, hinting at a pass-first guard who can steady the ball and create for others.[1] The bigger reason to care is his role: Buena Vista lists him as a guard on its 2025-26 roster, and that kind of lead-guard profile can fit teams that value decision-making, pace control, and low-drama connective play more than empty volume.[2] With so little current-season sample size available, his true impact will come down to whether he can translate that playmaking into consistent two-way guard minutes.[1][2]
