Dual-threat flashes, but the sample is still tiny
In the 2025 season, Arkansas State QB Josh Flowers showed a small but intriguing dual-threat spark: 2-of-6 passing for 13 yards, 1 touchdown and 1 interception, plus 9 rushing attempts for 60 yards, with a 73.2 passer rating on limited action.[4][6][7] The upside is obvious—he brings size, mobility, and a little edge as a playmaker—but the résumé is still thin, so he reads more like a developmental fit than an instant plug-and-play answer.[8][9]
