Rayner Heinrich is Tarleton State’s all-around spark plug
In the 2026 season, Rayner Heinrich has been one of Tarleton State’s most dangerous bats, including a .556 week that earned WAC Player of the Week honors and a season line of .353 with 3 home runs, 21 RBI, 24 hits, and an eye-popping .994 OPS in the available 2026 team stats. He brings gap power, on-base ability, speed, and enough defensive versatility to stay in the lineup anywhere the Texans need him. Add the preseason All-WAC nod and you’ve got a high-energy, run-creating utility player who looks like a smart fit for any aggressive lineup.
